About the Series
A Portrait of God No Single Title Could Contain

The Who He Is series spends one summer doing what the church has always done at its best — sitting slowly with Scripture and letting it form the way we see God. Thirty days with Jesus. Thirty days with the Holy Spirit. Thirty days with the Father. Each volume follows the same daily format: a title drawn from Scripture, a short reflection, a passage to dig deeper, and a prayer prompt to move truth from your head into your heart.
Each volume can be read on its own. Together, they form a portrait of the Trinity that no single month — or single title — could contain on its own.

About the Author
John W. Crowder
Pastor, First Baptist Church • West, Texas • Since 1994
John Crowder has served as pastor of First Baptist Church in West, Texas for over thirty years. In 2013, he helped lead his congregation and community through the long process of disaster recovery — an experience that shaped him deeply as a shepherd and as a writer. His book Anchor Point tells the story of West’s recovery and equips ministry leaders to guide their own communities through crisis.
The Who He Is series grows out of deeply held pastoral conviction: that we all need not just to know more about God, but to know Him — by name, by encounter, by the slow and faithful work of reading and praying through Scripture.
